Gus and his poor little mousie

Gus comes to visit and tends to very important things, brings them up and sets them beside our bed to admire.
This was his Christmas present to his grandparents.

Christmas time.

Our Holly tree out did itself this year, tis just covered with red berries.
The Robins will have a feast soon as they get hungry, when the temp goes
below freezing around here, and the insect supply dries up.

I am a filter junkie!

Ive taken many of Sara's classes on Filters, EyeCandy, SuperBladePro, Xenofex, and others KPT and more.
I do love filters and can go just wild with them as they can make any photo you have into a work of art, and never ever can you ever duplicate what you have done to one photo! Ive got albums and albums and more filled up with them.
This is just one that I have for this class, I had to limit myself, as I just go wild with them.
So here is just one of a purple glad in our garden,,,,,,,,,

The worlds UGLIEST house plant

Here is my purple ugly houseplant, it had 2 big brothers(or sisters) in our garden about 5 ft tall, but a freeze took care of them. This little guy I brought inside.
Its a castor bean, we brought the seeds back from Costa Rica or Belize.
I forgot to say that I used the lesson instructions to de-purple it, as I didnt have a good picture with a purple fringing effect.

I love to make these.

These are fun, here is just one, there are many more on my pbase.com site.

Magic Extractor brush

This magic extractor brush and other methods work so well on flowers.

Waiting to fly

Here he is on the Impatien plant, getting geared up to fly to Mexico.

Sylvie's Monarch

Here is the little Monarch caterpillar that our grandaughter found on a lilly in the garden. She and her brother carefully took him and put him into a container made of screen, then brought him over to the house in Maine.
He was on the dining room table for about 3 days, then he made his crysalis, and spent a few more days 'cookin'. What fun to watch him come out as a lovely Monarch butterfly! We took him out of the porch and let him fly into an impatien plant. He stayed there for a couple of days, and then took off for Mexico.
