Better, not right, as we shouldnt need Photoshop

Here is a planet superimposed on the landscape(its a lower quality render to save time), I know there is a way to put your planets into the scene without using Photoshop, there is a tutorial on the Planetside site. But I cant find it this morning.

click on the image to see a larger one

You need to click on the image to see a larger one, but you just might not want to, as these are pretty rudimentory.
Do so at your own risk for the TG ones.
These 2 are my feeble attempt to make mouseover links, actually they did work very well. But thats not here.
I will post links to my other stuff soon as its better as it is now.

One amazing program is TG2, but takes practise

Here is the best one Ive done so far, but still having problems with where to place the doggone camera.
It came out really washed out looking, so I worked on it with Photoshop, made it look much clearer and so much better with the colors and resolution.
Oh indeed, TG2 is a fantastic program!
Practise, work and more practise will make it better. I have no clue as to what the experts are talking about, importing and all that stuff, but here is a start.

I am starting a Terragen class, so will put some pix here

I have the new Terragen TG2, and it sure is amazing! I havent started the class yet, but have a couple of pictures to put up.
They wont be great, but its a start.
Then when class starts, I will probably make a new page or something so they wont be mixed up with the other stuff.

This one is a comparison with the original and 3 others which I messed with with Photoshop. Sorry about the small image. I will put some big ones up on my pbase site later.
The one glaring thing is the lake is not good, and there is no beach or variation in color near the waters edge. But this is all in the fun of learning, come back in a couple of weeks to see some improvement. This is so much fun, and TG2 is really awesome, all I have to do is learn how to use it better!
