Sylvie's Monarch

Here is the little Monarch caterpillar that our grandaughter found on a lilly in the garden. She and her brother carefully took him and put him into a container made of screen, then brought him over to the house in Maine.
He was on the dining room table for about 3 days, then he made his crysalis, and spent a few more days 'cookin'. What fun to watch him come out as a lovely Monarch butterfly! We took him out of the porch and let him fly into an impatien plant. He stayed there for a couple of days, and then took off for Mexico.
